We had a wonderful evening family dinner of 5 two weeks ago. To be honest, one need to have some basic understanding of Thai cuisine to fully enjoy the food here. The chef has done a wonderful job here infusing the different kind of Thai dishes in all the dishes. Personally, I find very fun as it was like treasure hunting. Slowly tasting the various dishes and trying to find out the hidden treasure😄😄😄 If you were to ask me exactly the details, frankly, I can’t recall. All I could remember was that it was a very wonderful evening for the family in a relax surrounding, fine service and over good food. As for the pricing? It was stated clearly before booking. Willing seller willing buyer.

We came here with high expectation as Le Du is ranked as the best restaurant in Asia. They offer contemporary Thai cuisines, modern approach on traditional Thai ingredients and cuisines. We ordered the 6-course tasting menu. My favorite course is the red snapper with mantis and bitter melon (the green/white dish surrounded by green sauce), the taste and combination of these ingredients are just incredible! Upon recommendation, we also ordered the river prawn as they claimed it’s their signature (the deep blue plate). However, it’s actually underwhelming as we felt it’s overcooked which the burnt taste and smell weren’t pleasant, and it overpowered the taste of the sauce. Overall, presentation is good, taste of each course is a bit too complicating for me as some ingredients weren’t compatible with others. Service wasn’t professional enough, either. I’m somewhat disappointed as the service should be top-notch if your establishment is deemed a fine dining. The waitresses and waiters were more like interns to me, not as professional or knowledgeable as other fine dining restaurants I went to around the world. Given the price Le Du charges and other amazing food and restaurants in Bangkok, I probably won’t come back again.

Le Du provides a unique dining experience with its recently revamped, classy interior design. The atmosphere reminds me of scenes from "The Menu." The dishes were a delightful departure from the ordinary, offering flavors that surpassed my expectations of Thai food. The innovative taste combinations made the meal truly memorable. Had a good time here with my husband, look forward for the next visit, must try the signature river prawns!

Patronised Le Du today (20/01) for lunch. Expectations was high since Le Du was ranked 15th best restaurant in the world and best restaurant in Asia. However, the overall experience was a let down. Out of the 6 course menu, only the snapper with bitter melon and squid with strawberry was good. Grouper with Tofu was overcooked and the fish was hard. One of the biggest let down was the dessert dish. Felt like they just threw in the ingredients together and hope that it looks complex enough but the ingredients doesn’t complement each other in terms of taste at all. Not sure how did Le Du obtained “best restaurant in Asia” accolade. There were so many Michelin star restaurants I tasted that was way better. And seriously, a plate of of very ordinary fruits to form the Petite Fours? Unbelievable. My advice would be for the team of Le Du to review its menu and look for ways to improve. I would definitely not return again.

Amazing experience. The dishes were delicious and very well presented, and the staff was very kind. I only missed a paired drink with the prawn, which is an extra, but recommended as is a signature dish. Highly recommended experience if you go to Bangkok.

Le Du Bangkok offers a contemporary Thai culinary affair that leaves little room for disappointment. While some may find the price tag a tad lofty for a 6-course meal, the fusion of Thai flavors with sophisticated culinary techniques and elegant presentation is undeniably commendable. The majority of the service staff exude excellence, though a single exception stands out. Overall, a tasteful journey through modern Thai gastronomy with a hint of extravagance.

A truly amazing experience. If you are visiting Bangkok on a food tour as we were do not miss this. We had done multiple guided food tours in the days leading up to going here by sheer luck. I would highly recommend this as you will be familiar with many of the flavors smells and textures that will be served in this exquisite, elevated example of Thai Cuisine. If this is the way you roll as well I suggest the 6 course with wine pairing. Thank you Le Du staff for an amazing night.

This should have been better all around. The food was exceptional but the perfunctory service and cramped space detracts from a true fine dining experience. It’s also quite expensive even by Thai fine dining standards and just doesn’t live up to its potential. The menu is well composed and truly Thai, with nods to regional components and modern techniques. The red snapper and squid were unique flavors that really hit home but the server barely explained these complex dishes. Last “main” course of beef was tasty but nothing special. We felt rushed through the entire meal and had to ask for wine and water repeatedly. Seems that popularity and ranking might have overshadowed the skills that’ once made this one of our favorite Bangkok destinations. We would go back but there are so many other fine dining choices now in the city it will be a while. Cost was around 7000 BAHT per person including moderate wine.
